Today we traveled down to Columbus to take on Ohio State. The match proved to be a great one and went into double overtime, with a final score of 1-1. The buckeyes scored first off of a free kick, but Brianne Eisenhard would equalize the score off a Gina Rossi assist later in the match to tie it up. The coaching staff was extremely happy with both the result and with the way the girls battled. We nearly found a win, and were unfortunate that we didn't find the game winning goal. We certainly would have deserved it with the level of play that the girls exhibited today. Hope to see you on Friday and Sunday for two home matches versus Tennessee Tech and Marshall respectively. Friday's match starts at 5:00pm and Sunday's at 1:00pm.
