BGSU SUMMER SOCCER CAMP

This year's BGSU Women's Soccer Summer Camp will be held from July 29th-August 2nd. The camp is open to both Residential and Non-Residential campers (10-18 years). Please click here and follow appropriate links to view the Camp Brochure and Registration form.

Highlights of this year's camp include:

Alumni Game

The last spring season game for 2009 had the team slated against the BGSU Alumni team. The alumni team, comprised of past BGSU Women's Soccer players, took to their old home field for a friendly game against the current BGSU Women's Team. Although the alumni tried their best to muster up their previous playing form, the current BGSU team was just too much for them to handle. In the end, the alumni were defeated by a score of 6-2, but they had a great time both being able to play again and being able to reconnect with each other. After the game there was talk about the game next year, and the Alumni decided that next year was the year where they come to play in better shape. There was definitely some "wind sucking" by some of the former players. When did the field get so big?! It was also decided that touching a soccer ball or putting their cleats on again before the big day comes again next year would be a good idea :)
