The BGSU Women's Soccer team spent some time over the past weekend volunteering their efforts while lending a helping hand to the Habitat for Humanity foundation. The team set off early on Saturday morning and would work well into the afternoon on various aspects of a Habitat for Humanity housing project.
The current players helped clear trash from a neighborhood, helped build a couple of sheds, and also helped with painting needs. The girls had a great time, but should probably stick to honing their skills on the soccer field. We had to do a hand check to make sure that no one lost any fingers during the shed building. Somehow, hammering in a nail is always harder than it looks!
